Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, also known as Ari Lennox, a Washington, D.C.-based American singer/songwriter, was signed by the label's debut female singer for Dreamville Records by J. Cole. In October of 2016 Ari Lennox debuted her debut EP Pho. This was the moment that she was recognized. The album that she released as her debut studio album Shea Butter Baby was released on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox first uploaded songs online in the year 2012. She released her debut album Ariography and debut mixtape in 2013 five Finger Discount. Ari Lennox continued uploading her songs online, including her self-released single Bound. In 2015, she was featured in Omen's Elephant Eyes Album, which came out on the 21st July. it out on July 21st. J. Cole, who was part of the Dreamville crew back then and wanted her to create Rihanna and Rihanna-related songs. In December 2008, it was revealed that Rihanna was hired with Dreamville Records. Backseat is a song that she co-wrote with Cozz to record the collaboration album Revenge of the Dreamers II. The singer released Pho, her debut EP on Oct 21, 2016. Ari Lennox then appeared as the opening performer on behalf of J. Cole on his song Change in 2017, and was a part of the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour. In 2018, Ari Lennox performed on two tracks with EarthGang, on Nothing but the Best, and Bas On Icarus. Ari Lennox, on the 16th of July in 2018 she released her debut single "Whipped Cream" from Shea Butter Baby. A music video came out on the 5th. In November, she released her singles 40 Shades of Choke & Grampa. In November 13, she came out with two additional singles, No One as well as Pedigree. The singer appeared alongside Cole in her Creed II Soundtrack on Shea Butter Baby On November 16, and then released the song as a single by herself for the album she released her debut. In February of 2019, a music video was made available for the track. The track has received nearly three million views on YouTube within its initial week. In December of 2018 the singer was a part of her From East Atlanta With Love Tour, which featured 6LACK.
